Eddie Adams Workshop Audio Feature

If I have one regret from the Eddie Adams Workshop, which I attended as a student last October, it would be that I failed to record the many speeches that were given by the likes of Tom Kennedy, Bill Eppridge, Maggie Steber, and John White, among many others. The ones I mention here, all spoke with such eloquence and heart-felt passion. It may be partly the subject matter, which matters a great deal to me, but I was moved to goosebumps with each of them. Up until this point I had never heard anyone speak with such spirit about photography and it had the effect of affirming my career choice, even though I had yet to accomplish anything professionally. If I had done nothing else at the workshop besides listen to those speeches I’d tell you that it was worth it, ten times over.

So I was quite thrilled this morning when I discovered that the Eddie Adams site now hosts several of those speeches, collected over the years, in audio format. Enjoy.
